Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, full-time Service Plumbing & Heating Technician. You’ll diagnose, repair, and install residential and light commercial plumbing and HVAC/heating systems. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and proud of the quality of their work.
Compensation
- $35–$60/hour based on experience OR
- Commission-based pay structure with the ability to earn $170k annually
What You’ll Do
- Build strong customer rapport and deliver a great customer experience
- Diagnose plumbing & heating issues and present clear solutions
- Educate customers on scope, pricing, and options
- Install, repair, or replace:
- Pipes, valves, fittings, drains, and fixtures
- Toilets, faucets, shower valves, garbage disposals
- Water heaters, boilers, and heating equipment
- Gas lines (where licensed)
- Perform heating system maintenance and troubleshoot no-heat calls
- Maintain clear and accurate job records
- Communicate promptly with dispatch and office staff
- Mentor and support apprentices
- Keep your company vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Participate in ongoing training and team meetings
- Follow all plumbing and mechanical codes
- Use basic and advanced plumbing/HVAC tools
- Bonus: Experience with ServiceTitan software
What You Bring
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in plumbing and/or heating service work
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Pride in quality workmanship and maintaining high professional standards
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work full-time with some after-hours flexibility
- Authorized to work in the United States
- A dependable, team-oriented attitude
