Speech Therapist 2500 Bonus

Pro Rehab, an established Rehab company with over 35 years of successful business, is looking for a Speech Therapist to join our staff at Bethesda of Willmar, in Willmar MN. Position Type: Full-Time

Wage Range: $40 - $50 / hour depending on experience.

Bonus: $2,500

Location: 901 Willmar Ave SE, Willmar, MN 56201

Speech Therapist Responsibilities:

• Assess & Diagnose Communication Disorders: Evaluate patient needs and deficits such as but not limited to: patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties
• Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized therapy programs to improve the functional deficits of the patient
• Provide Speech & Language Therapy: Conduct exercises and interventions to improve communication and speech abilities
• Educate & Support Patients & Families: Teach strategies for effective communication and techniques to improve daily life
• Monitor Progress & Adjust Treatment: Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify therapy plans as needed
• Collaborate with Healthcare & Education Teams: Work with doctors, teachers, and therapists to ensure comprehensive support for patients
  
  

Speech Therapist Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Speech Therapy Program and have a bachelor’s degree
• Must possess a current accredited MN Speech Therapist License
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to Home Health care
• Develop care plans and discharge planning strategies for optimal patient recovery
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and personalized treatment plans
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills to educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home care practices
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
