As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Lake Ridge Care Center, you'll provide nursing care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident health as well as monitor nursing personnel during assigned shift. The ideal candidate is a skilled and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is committed to enhancing the lives of older adults. Position Type: Full-Time, temporary position working up to 3 months of 12-hour, overnight shifts

Shifts Available (including every other weekend):

Nights 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Pay Range: $28.41 - $36.29 / hour depending on experience

Location: 310 Lake Blvd S, Buffalo, MN 55313

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:

• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff
• Works to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary
• Monitors nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift
  
  

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)) Qualifications:

• Must be in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing and have current MN Nursing license
• Current BLS certification required.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team
