Activities Assistant - 1000 Bonus

As an Activities Assistant at Cornerstone, you will help plan and lead engaging programs that promote socialization, creativity, and fun for our residents. This position is ideal for someone who is energetic, outgoing, and enjoys making meaningful connections through daily interactions and special events.

Position Type:  Full-Time

Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.  Must be able to work an occasional Saturday for activity purposes. 

Pay:  $15.53 - $18.28 per hour depending on experience

Bonus: $1,000

Activities Assistant Responsibilities:

• Encourage, support, and assist residents with activities.
• Interact and assist residents on a one-to-one basis outside of structured program times.
• Document activity attendance and degree of involvement.
• Act as a positive representative at all times.
• Transport participants using Cornerstone bus to scheduled outings. 
• Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.

• Prior experience working with seniors preferred, but not required.
• Demonstrate good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to display enthusiasm and a positive attitude in promoting activities.
• Creative aptitude for training in arts, crafts, and games.
• Good communication skills, including the ability to give directions to others in a manner that is pleasant and easily understood.
• Must be 21 years of age to meet federal and insurance requirements for driving activity bus. 
• Must possess a valid MN Driver's License.
