Qualifications:
-RN License preferred
-2 years experience
-Prior Nursing home experience
Nursing Facility in the Bronx is looking for a Case Manager to join our team!
Responsibilities:
-familiar with medical terminology, Reviews payment source of new admissions and re-admissions
-verifying that proper authorizations are in place for managed care insurances
Reviews online case Management Program on a daily basis to ensure all required documentation is complete.
-Responsible to get Managed Medicaire Authorizations, Co-pay Authorizations, Managed Medicaid and MLTC Authorzations
-Records insurance updates and date information was transmitted
-Communicates insurance denials to in house clinical team and assists with the transmission of appeals
-Interacts with various insurance companies and provide updated clinical information as needed
-Ensures all authorizations are complete by the end of the month for timely billing
-Other projects as needed by the department.
-knowledge of excel
