Duties
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and leaf blowing to keep landscapes vibrant and healthy
- Assist with landscape maintenance including planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and installing mulch or soil amendments
- Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (weed whackers, blowers) safely and efficiently
- Use equipment such as excavators or snow plows during seasonal tasks to support site preparation or snow removal efforts
Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or outdoor maintenance is preferred but not required—training will be provided!
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and hand tools is a plus
- Knowledge of horticulture principles related to plant health and landscape aesthetics is beneficial
- Ability to operate small machinery like excavators or snow plows is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols and work effectively in outdoor environments
