CASS Winery’s Geneseo Inn is a luxury boutique hotel nestled in the rolling hills of Paso Robles wine country. Built of industrial shipping crates perched above the vines on CASS Winery's 145 acres of vineyard, the inn has garnered international attention for its architectural beauty and the unique experiences tied to the property.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are currently looking to build our housekeeping team at the Geneseo Inn. We are excited about individuals who are customer service and detail oriented. The perfect teammate is one who is both energetic and organized, and who values cleanliness. Availability to work Friday-Monday is required. Applicants who can not work weekends will be disregarded. We’re also looking for people who take initiative, communicate well with teammates, and are comfortable working independently when needed. This role includes delivering breakfast to guest rooms, so a friendly, polished, and guest-facing attitude is important.
DUTIES:
- Clean & maintain the eight units at the Geneseo plus the 3 bedroom vineyard Farmhouse
- Clean & maintain common areas (Lobby, courtyard, and deck)
- Prepare and deliver in-room breakfast trays to guests in the morning - ensuring presentation is clean and accurate, and that service is warm, timely, and professional
- Ensure company standards are followed in welcoming and acknowledging all guests
- Anticipate service needs of guests
- Apply professional language in communicating with guests and other people
- Provide support to team in order to achieve common goals
- Maintain company quality standards and expectations
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriately
- Enter guest rooms by adhering to proper procedures and ensure they are vacant
- Routinely inspect all room appliances to ensure they are in good working condition
- Adhere to all safety, security, and company procedures and policies
- Provide immediate report of any safety hazards, injuries, maintenance problem, or accidents to the supervisor
- Keep uniform clean and make sure to appear professional always
- Assist with washing glassware and dishes
- Assist with washing/drying/folding laundry
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate professionally with both guests and team members
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move items up to 25 lbs
- Able to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, reach overhead, and move between buildings and outdoor areas for extended periods of time
- Ability to safely push and maneuver a fully loaded housekeeping cart over uneven or sloped surfaces
- Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality (preferred but not required)
- Possess high school diploma or equivalent
- CA Food Handler’s Certificate (preferred, but not immediately required)
- Availability to work weekends and holidays is required
- Ability to communicate clearly in English is preferred due to frequent guest interaction and coordination with other departments

- Hourly rate TBD depending on experience ($16-$18)
