Cass Health Rapid Care Clinic is seeking a dedicated and licensed Advanced Practice Provider to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. - Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner's or Physician Assistant Program

- If NP, current RN license for the State of Iowa
- If NP, current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License for the State of Iowa
- If NP, Family Nurse or Acute Care Certification

- Current DEA number and prescriptive authority
- Current State of Iowa Controlled Substance
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS (also ATLS and NRP if working independently in the ER)

Essential Job Functions
-
Evaluate physical developmental, psychological, social, and environmental status specific to age through comprehensive health history and physical examination and using diagnostic instruments or lab procedures basic to screening of physical signs and symptoms.
Access normal and abnormal findings from history, physical examination, electrocardiograms, laboratory results, and diagnostic imaging results.

Manages the medical plan of care including orders for medications, blood products, and other treatments in compliance with evidence-based treatment modalities consistently and accurately.

Performs such clinical procedures for patient’s benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner (i.e. splinting, suturing, intubation, cardioversion.)

Consults as necessary with supervising physician or other health professionals to provide for acute and ongoing healthcare or referral of the patient.

Facilitates the patient’s transition within and between health care settings; refer and transfer patients for specialty care and follow-up care.
