WHAT YOU'LL DO AS OUR CIVIL ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER:

In this high-responsibility role as a Civil Engineering Project Manager, you'll oversee every stage of public infrastructure projects-from design and budget planning to on-site supervision and compliance. You'll work with contractors, consultants, and public agencies to deliver safe, functional roads, bridges, and drainage systems. Expect a healthy mix of office-based planning and field inspections, plus meaningful emergency response work during floods, including infrastructure assessment and FEMA coordination. Some work occurs outdoors in various weather conditions and may involve physical activity.

You'll manage:

• Construction project oversight and contract administration
• In-house design and preliminary engineering
• Infrastructure databases and maintenance planning
• Public communication and citizen engagement
• Flood preparation, monitoring, and recovery efforts

What We Need From Our Civil Engineering Project Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
• Experience in road, bridge, and drainage design and construction
• Knowledge of surveying techniques and construction materials testing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, spreadsheets, and technical software
• Strong project management skills and the ability to work effectively with contractors, public officials, and the general public
