Exciting Career Opportunity: Manager of Technical Services
Due to retirement, we are seeking a full-time Manager of Technical Services to join our team at Cass County Electric Cooperative. In this critical role, you will oversee the maintenance, analysis, reporting, and field measurement of various key technical systems, including electric distribution automation, distributed generation, metering, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), and power quality. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness and reliability of our distribution plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the technical functions related to the distribution plant, ensuring optimal performance of automation, generation, metering, and power quality systems.
- Conduct regular analysis, reporting, and field measurements to support the continued success of the Cooperative's technical operations.
What We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, with at least four years of relevant experience. (Progressive work experience may substitute for part of the educational requirements.)
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, with a plan to register as a Professional Engineer (PE) in North Dakota, is highly preferred.
- Experience in electric utility systems operations is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
