Dental Assistant (Belton & Harrisonville) – Full-Time or Part-Time

Pay: Starting at $19.00 per hour; higher rates available based on qualifications and experience.
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Location: This position is based at both the Belton and Harrisonville clinic locations. The employee will generally work in Harrisonville on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with remaining days assigned to Belton. Schedule and location assignments are subject to change based on clinical and operational needs.

We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Dental Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is passionate about serving the community.
Position Summary
The Dental Assistant works closely with dentists, hygienists, and other team members to provide high-quality patient care. This position is responsible for chairside assisting, patient education, radiographs, infection prevention, and supporting efficient clinical operations while helping create an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during restorative, pediatric, and general dental procedures.
- Assist with fillings, stainless steel crowns, pulp therapy, crown preparations and deliveries, anterior and premolar endodontic procedures, extractions, and other clinical procedures within scope.
- Take diagnostic dental radiographs.
- Perform dental prophylaxis and place sealants as permitted by Missouri regulations.
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain operatory readiness.
- Follow OSHA, CDC, and clinic infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
- Educate patients and families on oral health and post-operative instructions.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation within the electronic dental record.
- Assist with inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
- Cross-train and assist with administrative or front office duties as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program or a minimum of one year of chairside dental assisting experience.
- Current Missouri Dental Assistant certification/credentials as applicable.
- Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Permit preferred but not required.
- Experience with CareStack and SOTA Cloud preferred but not required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
