- Greet patients warmly and handle all front desk activities with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Schedule appointments accurately using electronic health record (EHR) system
- Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance verification, and collect patient payments
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, providing exceptional patient service and clear communication
- Maintain and update patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and proper documentation review
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing medical records using EHR system
- Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment with strong clerical and administrative skills
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to verify insurance benefits and perform Medicare/Medicare-related tasks efficiently
- Excellent phone etiquette, typing skills (including 10-key), and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and office management tasks
