WIC Program Specialist
Casper-Natrona County Health Department (CNCHD)
The Casper-Natrona County Health Department is seeking a Program Specialist to join our Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) team.
This position provides nutrition and breastfeeding support to WIC participants, conducts nutrition assessments, develops care plans, tailors food packages, and connects families with community resources. The Program Specialist helps improve maternal and child health outcomes by delivering individualized, culturally sensitive education and support.

- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Nursing, Public Health, Dietetics, or related health field.
Compensation: $58,630 - $64,790 annually, depending on experience. Includes full benefits package.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week. Some evening/weekend outreach may be required.

- Meet USDA/WIC federal requirements for CPA (physician, nutritionist, dietitian, RN, PA, or medically trained health official).
- 0–2 years of experience in health programs (or 3–5 years relevant experience in lieu of degree).
- Strong communication, computer, and organizational skills.
- Valid Wyoming driver’s license; must pass background check, medical evaluation, immunization review, and drug screening.
