Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Casper Cardiology. In this role, you will provide essential respiratory care to patients, ensuring optimal respiratory function and supporting our cardiology services.
Responsibilities
- Performing pulmonary function testing, including bronchodilator responsiveness testing.
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments according to physician orders.
- Administer 6 minute walk tests and titrating oxygen.
- Administer home sleep apnea testing.
- Assist providers with CPAP management and coordination with DME companies.
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and respiratory status.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory health, therapy techniques, and inhaler techniques.
Requirements
- Valid Respiratory Therapy license in the state of practice.
- Experience at a DME company or in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of respiratory therapy techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
