Front Desk Assistant (Bilingual) – Shoe Repair, Leather Boutique & Clothing Alterations

We are a well-established Shoe Repair, Leather Boutique, and Clothing Alterations shop dedicated to providing exceptional craftsmanship and customer service. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Assistant to be the first point of contact for our customers and help keep our daily operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), highly organized, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a polished professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide outstanding customer service.
• Receive and process incoming repair and alteration orders.
• Explain services, timelines, and pricing to customers.
• Process payments and manage daily transactions.
• Coordinate and maintain the production schedule to ensure timely completion of orders.
• Communicate with clients via email, text messages, and phone calls regarding order updates and inquiries.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally.
• Assist with order tracking, documentation, and customer records.
• Maintain an organized and professional front desk area.
• Support the team with administrative and operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
• Previous customer service, front desk, administrative, or retail experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable using computers, email, and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
