One of the hottest restaurants in The Valley, Casita Mexican Restaurant & Bar, is seeking Managers to join our fun, fast-paced dining scene.
On Wednesday, May 22 from 12PM-3PM, we're hosting a job fair at the restaurant (14015 Ventura Boulevard, Sherman Oaks, CA). Candidates MUST APPLY IN PERSON AT THE JOB FAIR. Emailed resumes will not be accepted.
Serving modern Mexican made from scratch, Casita is a groundbreaking concept by the founders of BLVD Steak and Taisho Japanese Restaurant & Bar, which are our neighbors on Ventura.
Requirements
- 5 years of restaurant experience in a similar environment (fine dining, fast-paced and high-volume)
- 1 years of management experience
- Full Service and Full Bar experience
- Ability to manage strong personalities
- Fun, Positive, Strong Work Ethic

Responsibilities and Skills
- Resume and proven experience
- Excellent knowledge of F&B operations and efficiencies
- Proven track record of delivering an exceptional guest experience
- Strong leadership skills that create a collaborative, effective and positive work environment for staff and other managers
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Oversight to help ensure the front and back of the house are organized, stocked and clean
- Troubleshoot and do due diligence to avoid issues and work quickly to solve any issues and obstacles
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Manage orders and monitor costs
- Reporting and budgeting
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Computer literacy a must
- Ability to speak English and Spanish is a plus
