Casita Linda Mexican restaurant is looking to hire a barista/cashier!
This position is full time including weekends and holidays.
Overview:
Casita Linda is seeking a full time barista to join the familia. Experience is preferred but if you’re someone who is quick to learn and passionate about ongoing training then that is great too. We are looking for someone who is quick yet precise, patient under pressure, able to elaborate an coffee/cacao/tea knowledge.
Our barista position is multifaceted, we also serve a bakery menu and a food menu that requires full understanding as well. Our menu is driven by a passion to serve our customers options that connect Mexico and other parts of the world with our community.
Starting pay $16/hr plus tips.
Barista responsibilities include:
having a comprehensive understanding of dialing coffee
serve beverages and food efficiently
maintaining a clean counter/ work station
maintaining tables clean
running beverage/food/bakery orders
taking orders
have strong communication skills
understand the cultural significance of items in our menu and of the cafe
be a solution seeker
have full time availability
have available weekends and holidays
