SUMMARY:
Provide professional, friendly, and efficient food and beverage service during banquet events including weddings, corporate functions, and other special events. Responsibilities include event setup, food and beverage service, and event breakdown. All tasks are to be performed with a high level of courtesy, attention to detail, and guest satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIE:
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications including table settings, buffet arrangements, and service stations.
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating as needed.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately according to the event’s meal service (plated, buffet, or passed hors d'oeuvres).
- Monitor food and beverage levels, replenish items as needed, and clear used dishes in a timely and discreet manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the event space throughout the event.
- Communicate with kitchen and banquet captain to ensure accurate and timely service.
- Respond to guest requests and concerns with professionalism and urgency.
- Assist with post-event breakdown including clearing tables, storing equipment, and general cleanup.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 1 year of prior experience in food service, banquet, or hospitality setting preferred.
- Friendly demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and evenings based on event needs.

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and obtain/maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License.
