This position reports directly to any Manager or Floorperson on site.
Job Description
Dealers will deal a variety of games while handling player transactions. Such transactions may include buying and selling of chips, accepting bets, paying winnings, and collecting from non-winning bets. Dealers should positively interact with guests to provide a welcoming atmosphere. Dealers will notify their immediate supervisor upon any irregularity or dispute that may arise during the game.
Essential Duties
Dealers will operate gaming tables through the
- Selling of chips
- Dealing of cards
- Paying of winnings and collecting of losing bets
- Collection of table drops
Responsibilities
Dealers will provide a high level of customer service to patrons.
Dealers should understand and have strong knowledge of all game rules and procedures.
Protect and execute games according to house rules.
Knows all collection rates for tables.
Understands player-dealer rotation.
Inspect and maintain cards and equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
Cooperate with other staff members and management.
Maintain a proper amount of hands per down with limited mistakes.
Work Requirements
Employees are required to pass a government background check.
Dealers will be required to stand or sit for 30 minute intervals.
Dealers will be required to accurately calculate payouts and collections.
One year in the cardroom/casino industry is required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.90 per hour
