Facilities/Maintenance Technician - **Signing Bonus

Description

Our Facilities/Maintenance Team supports a fast-paced casino/cardroom environment at Silicon Valley’s premier 24/7 entertainment destination. Casino M8trix is seeking skilled trades professionals — including painters/drywall specialists, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and electrical technicians — to join our Maintenance Department and help elevate our operational excellence and guest experience.

$1,000 SIGNING BONUS

This role performs a wide variety of skilled trade and general maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include:

• Repairing leaking faucets, replacing seals and washers, clearing clogged drains, repairing/replacing water heaters, and other plumbing-related tasks.
• Performing drywall repair, taping, mudding, sanding, patching, texturing, painting, staining, and sealing interior surfaces.
• Conducting routine HVAC maintenance such as filter replacement, basic troubleshooting, airflow checks, and condensate line clearing.
• Performing basic electrical tasks including changing ballasts, replacing outlets/switches, troubleshooting lighting and low-voltage issues, and assisting with minor electrical repairs.

Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older.
• Must be willing to undergo background check.
• Available to work any shift, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in facilities, maintenance, or a skilled trade (painting/drywall, plumbing, HVAC, or electrical strongly preferred).
• Fluent in English; bilingual a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and trade-specific tools.
• Basic computer skills for work orders and maintenance logs.
• Ability to operate various types of maintenance equipment.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Graffiti abatement, A/C filter replacement, and cleanup of all work areas.
• Drywall patching, texture matching, and interior/exterior painting.
• Plumbing maintenance: repairing leaks, replacing faucets/seals, unclogging drains, snaking lines, and servicing water heaters.
• HVAC tasks: filter changes, diagnostics, minor repairs, and assisting external HVAC contractors.
• Electrical tasks: replacing lamps/ballasts, troubleshooting lighting circuits, repairing switches/outlets, and supporting small electrical projects.
• Installing, repairing, or replacing locks, handsets, hinges, and door hardware.
• Coordinating maintenance efforts with other departments and responding to service requests.
• Troubleshooting and repairing general equipment (lamps, extension cords, vacuums, small devices, and internet-connected components).

Work Hours and Availability

Must be available full-time, including weekends and holidays. Open positions for:

• Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Graveyard Shift: 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM

Compensation and Benefits:

Starting pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour based upon experience. Employee benefits are available for all qualifying full-time employees including paid time off, medical, vision, dental insurance, and a 20% employee discount on food, non-alcoholic beverages, and Casino M8trix merchandise.

Position available for a signing bonus of up to $1000. Bonuses only applicable to specific positions, and terms and conditions apply.
