Surveillance Observer – Casino Fandango
As a Surveillance Observer, you will serve as the vigilant oversight agent for both management and customers within our casino. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor all areas of the casino floor, cage, and restaurants, as well as the cameras located outside and at the back of the house. Your keen eye will help ensure the safety and security of our casino assets.
 

What You’ll Do:

• Safeguard the company’s best interests by maintaining a watchful eye on all activities within and around the casino.
• Keep a close watch on current activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly and securely.
• Analyze video tapes of recent activity to investigate any matters at hand, using your discretion to handle sensitive and confidential issues.
• Operate autonomously and unsupervised, demonstrating your ability to manage responsibilities effectively.
• Pay meticulous attention to the smallest details, as this is crucial in identifying any irregularities.
• Accurately create and log reports for the department manager, detailing any violations or suspicious activities.
• Discuss performance, complaints, or violations of any rules/procedures with the Manager, maintaining an open line of communication.
• Be prepared to handle any job or detail outside of the everyday routine due to evolving changes in the environment.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guests, fellow team members, and vendors.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Surveillance department.

What We’re Looking For:

• 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma and/or GED (preferred).
• Previous experience with digital surveillance equipment (preferred).
• Basic understanding of gaming rules, regulations and how players can cheat.
• Must have the basic and clear understanding in Table Games and Slots.
• The ability to read and recognize abnormal body language.
• Possess strong computer skills (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime mandatory as assigned.
