Pantry Cook – Governor’s Grill
Position Summary:
The Pantry Cook supports the Governor’s Grill by preparing fresh, high-quality pantry items while maintaining excellent presentation and food safety standards. This role is ideal for a reliable, detail-oriented team player who takes pride in consistency, cleanliness, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and present fresh vegetables, salads, and pantry items for restaurant service.

Ensure food quality, portion control, and visual presentation meet company standards.

Work assigned station(s) efficiently while maintaining high-quality finished products.

Follow proper food handling, knife skills, and kitchen safety procedures at all times.

Clean, disinfect, and sanitize cutting boards, worktables, and prep areas.

Maintain compliance with company policies and Health Department sanitation requirements.

Maintain a positive, professional demeanor with guests, team members, and vendors.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Day Shift and Swing Shift available
Qualifications:

Pantry or basic kitchen experience preferred.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.

Education and Experience:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma and/or GED preferred.
Additional Requirements:

- Able to successfully work in stressful and fast paced environment.
- Able to work in a team and independently.
- Must be able to speak, write and understand the English language.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
