What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at Cashmere Post Acute?
Cashmere Post Acute is looking for a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our skilled nursing facility in Cashmere! We are a 95-bed facility specializing in short and long-term care. Starting pay: $43-$49hour (Depending on experience)
Currently seeking DAY shift
You will provide direct patient care to short stay, sub-acute patients upon discharge from the hospital as well as long term care residents.
- Enteral Tube feedings
- Observe and record patient behavior
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests
- Administer medication, change wound dressings and care for other treatment options
- Maintenance of IV lines (Midline, PICC, Port of Cath)
- Wound Care (wound vacs, drains, dressing changes)
- Palliative and End of Life care
- Educating patients, families and staff on disease processes
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Degree in nursing
- Successfully complete and pass background check
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- In Long Term care
- Supervisory experience with nursing assistants (NAC’s)
- Experience with an interdisciplinary team
