Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
- Conduct floor care procedures such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a polished appearance.
- Handle janitorial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window washing, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist with custodial duties related to industrial or commercial cleaning projects, ensuring all tasks meet quality expectations.
- Support facilities maintenance activities by reporting repairs needed for fixtures or equipment and assisting with basic upkeep tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and storage areas, ensuring supplies are stocked and organized for efficient operations.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial duties or related fields such as facilities maintenance or porter experience.
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or carpet extractors is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for collaborating effectively with colleagues.
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
