What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Crew position at Cashman's Pub?
Local Downtown Macon restaurant since 2019 serving a wide variety of food items; and competitors/ participants of many Macon events and news specials! Apart of this kitchen crew, you will support the kitchen operations team by providing exceptional service while handling food preparation, along with general kitchen duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Promptly communicate any inventory or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with receiving and storing food and supplies.
Food Safety and Sanitation:
- Ensure safe food handling procedures are maintained at all times.
- Prepare all made to order food according to recipe or customer specifications.
- Stock food and beverage areas with products and supplies to ensure in stock conditions at all times.
- Complete cleanliness tasks to ensure all food service areas are free of any residue, debris and spills.
- Adhere to the Safety and Health Policy to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 16 years of age upon hire date.
- Must have reliable communication skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:
- Ability to stand for extended periods, ranging from 8 to 10 hours.
- Ability to push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to multitask, perform repeated bending, standing and reaching, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in environments with wet floors, temperature fluctuations, and loud noise levels.
Pay: From $9.00 per hour
