What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Shift Order Selector - Aberdeen, SD position at Cash-Wa Distributing?
If you want a job that keeps you busy and moving, then this is it! This position is responsible for picking orders per customer request. You need to be fast and accurate. Full-time 2nd shift positions are available with the most earning potential being on the night shift where you start earning a pick incentive after you qualify which is generally within 90 days.
Our warehouse includes a dry, cooler, freezer section.
- Night shift: Starts at 3pm – wages start at $19/hr incentive based on productivity
Order Selector: Selects customer orders from pick slots using pick lists of assorted items to build orders according customer order. Delivers merchandise to correct dock area, stacks items on pallets according to driver stops for next day’s delivery and shrink wraps palletized orders. This involves operating a pallet jack, moving products from racks to pallet, labeling the selected cases with the order labels and using a voice automated picking system. Validates that correct product has been selected and is damage free. Notify Stocker of empty or short slots for replenishment.
- Job consists of repetitive lifting of 80-90% of the shift.
- Heavy lifting jobs generally lift 10-50 lbs, on rare occasions lifting up to 100 lbs.
