We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic Team. Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient information
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth clinic operation.
- Provide support in all orthodontic cases, demonstrating patience and understanding with all patients.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an orthodontic assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental software systems is an advantage.
- Ability to manage records efficiently while maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a busy environment.
