What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Payroll Individual position at Cash Express, LLC?
Cash Express is looking for an experienced payroll individual for a Multi State company that also has experience with Sage Software.
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage payroll for employees accurately and timely
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports
- Year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation
- Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee information and benefits deductions
- Generate various payroll reports as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Payroll Coordinator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, procedures, and regulations
- Familiarity with technical accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of governmental accounting practices is a plus
