What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Team Member position at Casey's?
Casey's is seeking a full-time Warehouse Team Member for our Service Warehouse in Ankeny!
As a Warehouse Team Member, you will:
- Unload equipment and materials from vendors' trucks, check the items in, and then warehouse the items.
- Receive orders for construction and remodel loads from the Logistics Coordinator, pull the orders, and then load and secure the items onto delivery trucks.
- Receive orders for parts and equipment from Special Projects and Store Set departments and fill and load these orders onto trucks and trailers.
- Store supplies and materials in the proper location, according to prescribed method for convenient removal.
- Continually restock shelves and racking.
Work is primarily performed in a warehouse setting; however, some duties take place outdoors. This is a day shift position working Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Compensation:
Starting hiring range: $20.00 - $22.00. Actual pay may vary based on Casey's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the typical hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to operate a single and double pallet jack, forklift, and other mechanical warehouse equipment (Casey's will provide equipment training).
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist and lift up to and including 55 pounds on a repetitive basis.
- Must have the ability to walk or stand for 8-10 hours per day.
Preferred:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment near other team members.
- Knowledge of how to safely operate assigned equipment (Casey's will provide safety and proper procedure training).
