We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time role in our skilled nursing facility. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with residents to improve independence and functional ability in a supportive rehab setting.
What You'll Do:
- Carry out occupational therapy treatment plans under the direction of the Occupational Therapist
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, and self-care tasks
- Lead exercises focused on coordination, strength, and fine motor skills
- Monitor progress and communicate updates to the OT
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with care plans
