Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding security protocols. We are looking to fill a 6:30am-2:30pm Monday and Friday shift and also looking to fill a temporary Sunday 6:30am-2:30pm shifts from late October to late December for eight weeks.
Responsibilities
- Utilize CCTV systems to monitor real-time activities and maintain surveillance logs.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or disturbances, implementing conflict management techniques as necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations while providing excellent customer service to all individuals on-site.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and provide detailed reports of incidents.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies is advantageous.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
