Due to our continued growth we are looking to add an additional Construction Superintendent to our team!

Basic Purpose:
Responsible for supervising the construction of new multifamily apartment sites ranging in size from 200-400 units.
This position is responsible for all of the following:
- Communicating with the VP of Construction on a daily basis.
- Read Blueprints, Architectural and Civil.
- Schedule subcontractors working at the site.
- Walk/Inspect subcontractors work on a daily/regular basis for completion and quality control.
- Schedule inspections with city and work with Building Inspectors as needed.
- Assess progress of subcontractors and verify adequate personnel at job site to meet schedules.
- Ensure that subcontractors are performing work in a safe manner and adhering to OSHA standards.
- Work with Property Management personnel as job nears completion and Certificates of Occupancy are acquired.
- Report in writing on a weekly basis to VP of Construction documenting progress.
Requirements:
- 10-12 years related training/experience
- Multi-Family new construction experience is highly preferred
- Extensive in state and out of state travel will be required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English for business purposes
- Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background investigation including criminal record search, employment verification, and drug screen
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs; use hands to finger, handle, grasp or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel or crouch; talk; hear.
- Employees may be required to lift heavy objects up to 75 pounds with the assistance of a dolly and another employee.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Additional Information:
This is an Exempt Full Time position. The scheduled work hours will be M-F 7am-5pm and Saturdays 8am-12pm.
