Job Title: Case ManagerJob Summary: CASES is seeking a dedicated Case Manager for its new workforce development program - Community Resources for Employment and Development (CRED) - who is participant centered and desires to work in partnership with participants to accomplish their life and career goals. The ideal candidate has experience working with individuals who have systems involvement and has the fundamental belief that change is possible. The Case Manager must be sensitive to the needs, feelings, and cultural backgrounds of the participants, and be responsive in a non-judgmental manner.Shift Hours: This position is full-time Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Salary: The salary for this role is $60,000 per year. Location Address: 4 West 125th Street, New York, NY 10027. Our office is easily accessible by public transportation. Workplace Flexibility: Flexible - Staff have the flexibility to complete their workday from home or another suitable space, typically after reporting to the office and/or engaging in field or community-based work. What You Will Be Doing: Encourage and empower participants to engage and remain in programming.Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with participants.Partner with participants to establish long-term and short-term goals.Accompany participants who may need benefits assistance, support navigating housing issues, vital documents, etc.Develop and maintain resource guides for participants to access.Collaborate with team members to ensure information is being communicated between team regarding participants.Connect participants to resources that meet their needs.Enter data entry/notes at the end of each workday.Other duties as needed or required. What We Are Looking For: HS diploma or equivalency and experience working with city systems such as justice, public assistance, child welfare, education, and housing.Three years or more experience in providing case management; navigating city systems.Deep passion for working with at risk participants.A willingness to be in the field alongside participants and team members.Strong communication skills.Preferred Skills: Associate or bachelor's degreeFundamental belief that change is possible.Experience working with participants aged 18-40.
