- Assisting with patient intake and examination
- Taking dental scans, X-rays, and photographs
- Preparing patients for orthodontic procedures
- Educating patients on treatment options, aftercare instructions, and oral hygiene practices
- Preparing and sterilizing instruments and materials
- Assisting the orthodontist during treatment procedures, such as bonding, banding, and adjustments
- Monitoring patient progress and making necessary adjustments
- Removing and replacing orthodontic appliances, such as wires, and elastics
- Performing sending scans, lab work, and making retainers
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Adhering to safety protocols and infection control guidelines
