We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. The ideal candidate takes ownership of their daily responsibilities, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and communicates effectively with attorneys, staff, and court personnel. Key Responsibilities

• Organize, maintain, and update client files, legal documents, and case records.
• Assist attorneys with preparing, formatting, and filing legal documents and collection pleadings.
• Manage calendars, track deadlines, and schedule court dates or hearings.
• Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, and internal team members.

Qualifications

• Dependability: Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and a high degree of personal accountability.
• Organization: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with sharp attention to detail.
• Experience: Prior experience in a law firm or legal setting preferred (experience in collections or civil litigation is a plus).
• Communication: Ability to collaborate productively with attorneys, co-workers, and outside contacts.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and ability to learn legal software.
