Job Summary
Case Dental is expanding ! We are looking for another full-time experienced Dental Assistant. This is your opportunity to grow at a private dental practice with a family orientated team. We love our patients, so the candidate must be an outstanding communicator, friendly, organized, maintain professional appearance, highly motivated and ready to work in a fast-paced two doctor dental office. - Welcome patients in the dental office
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures

Requirements
- Proven experience working in a dental clinic setting with knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control procedures.
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times.
- Ability to perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Skills in taking X-rays accurately while maintaining safety protocols for both patients and staff.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and pediatrics to facilitate effective communication within the team.
- Experience with medical coding for insurance claims processing related to dental procedures.
- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques, infection control standards, and anatomy knowledge necessary for safe practice. Join us in delivering outstanding dental care!
