Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Financial Administrator with day to day supervision and coordination of all instructional and administrative technology.
- Provide high quality technology support with commitment to the user experience for all students and staff members.
- Ensure that technology issues are resolved efficiently with an effective solution.
- Work closely with the Financial Administrator to project out replacement cycles and capital needs for the Collaborative.
- Work closely with the CETT Team to coordinate device deployment and collection including iPads, Chromebooks, and Laptops.
- Support use of equipment, such as laptops, desktops, tablets, interactive projectors and whiteboards, and printers.
- Support G-Suite for Education across the Collaborative.
- Coordinate the repair or replacement of in-warranty and out-of-warranty equipment and maintain an updated inventory of equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as software updates and minor repairs as needed.
- Investigate new technologies and make recommendations to the Financial Administrator and the Executive Director.
- Be capable of moving and lifting computer equipment and peripherals, such as monitors, desktops, and printers.
- Must be able to drive between school locations in our member towns and our central office daily.
- Assist with planning and support of computer based testing.
- Manage third party contracts for printers, managed firewalls, and connectivity.
- Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by the Financial Administrator and/or the Executive Director.
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred but are not required.
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a multi-platform environment (Apple /Windows /Chromebooks /iPads /Tablets /Assistive Technology)
- Experience with G-Suite administrator fundamentals.
- Experience with classroom technology resources including projectors, printers, cameras, alarms, telephones, wi-fi systems, and interactive boards.
- Previous experience in an education setting is preferred but not required.
- Team player that can effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills required for user support and training with professional staff.
- Interact positively with people who have varied technology skill levels.
- Establish a positive working relationship with all town/school IT staff in member districts where the Collaborative has classrooms.
- Compensation competitive with public school employee sector.
- Participation in Massachusetts State Retirement Board (MSERS).

Salary : $68,000 - $85,000
