Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Associate to join our team. As an Audit Associate, you will play a crucial role in financial audits and providing valuable insights to our clients. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of financial concepts and regulations.
Duties:
- Assist with financial audits for clients in various industries
- Evaluate internal controls and identify areas for improvement
- Execute audit procedures in accordance with professional standards
- Analyze financial statements and supporting documentation
- Work closely with team members to ensure timely completion of audits
- Stay updated on relevant accounting standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or related field
- Knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and techniques
- Proficient in financial report interpretation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Skills:
- Solid understanding of financial concepts and analysis
- Experience in governmental, corporate accounting or Single Audit is a plus
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
