What You’ll Do
As a PTA, you’ll work under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist to help residents regain strength, confidence, and independence. Your day-to-day will include:
- Assisting residents with mobility, ambulation, and therapeutic exercises
- Implementing individualized therapy plans using manual techniques and assistive devices
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress
- Educating and motivating residents throughout their recovery journey
- Ensuring compliance with therapy protocols and safety standards
- Partnering with the therapy and nursing teams to support patient-centered outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records and timely documentation
- Staying current with best practices through continuing education
What You Bring
- Active (or eligible) Oregon PTA License — we’ll cover licensing costs if you need it!
- Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and therapy techniques
- A compassionate, upbeat approach to patient care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
