Cascadia NEMT Services is seeking reliable, compassionate, and safety-focused individuals to join our team as Non Emergency Ambulette Driver. Responsibilities
- Safely transport clients to medical appointments (dialysis, physical therapy, clinics, hospitals, etc.)
- Assist passengers entering/exiting the vehicle when needed
- Provide excellent customer service, patience, and respect to all clients
- Maintain a clean, safe vehicle at all times
- Manage daily schedules and ensure on-time pickups
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and route instructions
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and management
- Complete required trip logs, mileage sheets, and documentation
- Adhere to safety and compliance guidelines at all times
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record (no major violations)
- Reliable transportation to and from shifts
- Ability to pass background check & drug screen
- Professional, courteous, and patient with all passengers
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs and assist clients as needed
- Must be comfortable driving in traffic, long distances, and various weather conditions
- Strong time-management and communication skills
Preferred (Not Required)
- Previous NEMT, rideshare, delivery, or medical transport experience
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals
