Concierge - Part-time Position Open - Tuesday/Saturday/PRN

Position Summary

The Concierge contributes to our joyful and vibrant community by serving as the primary point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and hospitable environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly and approachable demeanor, and the ability to handle various administrative and service-related tasks efficiently.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist residents, families, visitors, and employees proactively with questions or problems resulting in a positive experience
• Answers and directs phone calls in a professional manner.
• Manages incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
• Manages the lobby; monitor and ensure desk and lobby are clean and neat; create a comfortable, inviting area; assist the activity director and/or others as necessary in promoting activities with residents in the lobby.
• Responds to inquiries and/or tours when Community Relations Director, Executive Director; facilitate experiences/tours of community as needed.
• Assists with planning and organizing community events and activities.
• Communicates event details and updates to residents and families.
• Promotes and encourages residents to participate in activities.
• Follows and communicates company policies and procedures.
• Attends and participates in required meetings and trainings.
• Stays current on all system assigned tasks and duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
  

Experience, Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other community staff.
• Possesses special interest in, and a positive attitude about, working with seniors.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability and an aptitude to learn company applications.
• Pass a criminal background and fingerprint check.
• Meets all mandatory health requirements by State regulations.
• Ability to work independently (with minimum supervision)
