This position will work closely with the Accounting Manager and collaborate with the broader accounting team. Position Summary

Duties/Responsibilities
- Account for and reconcile cash
- Meet month-end close and other deadlines
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements
- Perform general ledger reconciliations
- Interface with field personnel to review monthly financials and determine appropriate accruals
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Respond to auditor inquiries
- Interface with the AP team, coding manual payments and reconciling AP
- Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements
Skills and Abilities:
- Understanding of, and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- GAAP: 1 year preferred
- Excel: 1 year preferred
- Dynamics GP or other ERP systems experience preferred
- 1-5 years accounting experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (or equivalent work experience)
