- Schedule: Flexible (8-hour shifts; part-time or full-time availability considered)
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Pay: $22/hour

Being An Intern Or Student At Cascades Is a Unique Opportunity To Define Your Interests And Discover Your Passion As Our New Safety Intern
- Support the Safety Team in maintaining and improving site-wide health and safety programs
- Assist with administrative tasks, including the evaluation and optimization of safety management systems
- Gather and analyze feedback from employees regarding potential safety improvements and identified risks
- Perform regular floor inspections to assess safety compliance and identify hazards
- Collaborate on the development and enhancement of safety procedures and policies
- Support incident investigations by documenting findings and recommendations
- Participate in risk assessment activities to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards
- Attend and contribute to safety meetings to promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement
- Perform additional safety-related duties as assigned based on team needs and leadership direction

- Currently enrolled in a Safety program or related field
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain safety concepts clearly
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify risks and propose solutions
