Job Title: Senior Corporate Recruiter
Position Summary
The Senior Corporate Recruiter is responsible for proactively sourcing, engaging, and hiring top healthcare talent for our two companies: Cascades Healthcare and Independence Rehab. This role focuses on hard-to-fill and high-impact positions and requires expertise in outbound sourcing, relationship-building, and long-term pipeline development.
Unlike traditional recruiters who rely on inbound applicants, this position uses a true "hunter" approach-consistently engaging passive candidates and generating new, high-quality candidate flow.
This is an on-site position, located at our corporate headquarters in Provo, UT. This is NOT a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed.com, online professional networks, educational institutions, community partnerships, and direct outreach.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical roles, including Regional Management, Facility Administrator, Director of Nursing, Registered Nurses, therapy professionals (Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists), and other high-priority positions.
- Partner closely with facility leaders to understand staffing needs, timelines, and operational priorities.
- Use the Recruitment Prioritization Scorecard to guide weekly sourcing, targeting, and outreach strategy.
- Engage and influence passive candidates by clearly communicating the value of careers at Cascades and Independence Rehab.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert in sourcing techniques and coach team members in hunter-style recruiting.
- Track and report on weekly sourcing activity, including outreach volume, pipeline depth, and candidate-funnel conversion metrics.
- Ensure candidates receive timely communication, updates, and follow-through throughout the hiring process.
Key Metrics (KPIs)
- Weekly volume of proactive outbound outreach.
- Percentage of hires generated from proactive sourcing vs. inbound applicants.
- Pipeline strength and depth for Tier 1/high-priority roles.
- Time-to-fill for critical and high-impact positions.
- Reduction in external temp/agency usage and reliance on facility overtime through improved staffing.
- Hiring manager satisfaction and feedback scores.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in full-cycle recruiting, talent acquisition, or proactive sourcing; healthcare experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success sourcing and closing passive candidates using outbound recruiting strategies.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority searches with tight timelines.
- Proficiency with Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, major online sourcing platforms, and applicant tracking systems.
- Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment with measurable goals and KPIs.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
