What are the responsibilities and job description for the Live-Onsite Caretaker - RV Storage Facility position at Cascade Weekender RV Storage?
We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to work 32-hours/week, who is willing to work independently. This position requires living onsite in the apartment furnished by the employer. This individual will report to an offsite remote manager.
Job responsibilities focus primarily on the outdoor physical environment—such as the buildings, grounds, and infrastructure; ensuring they remain functional, secure, and well-maintained.
This position requires but is not limited to:
- Maintaining the facility property.
- Conducting daily rounds and safety checks.
- Keeping the grounds clean, free of trash and presentable.
- Keeping the occupant restroom clean and stocked.
- Cleaning vacated units and prepping them for new occupant.
- Washing exterior unit doors.
- Cleaning and maintaining drive aisles, keeping them free of moss, ice or snow during winter months.
- Maintaining the landscape, mowing, using the weedeater and weed control.
- Reporting maintenance and customer issues as needed.
- Coordinating necessary repairs with the offsite remote manager.
- Providing customer assistance when needed.
- Providing office assistance when requested by the remote manager, or when the remote manager is out of the office on vacation, sick or attending annual training seminars.
Requirements:
- Dependable, trustworthy and self-motivated.
- Basic maintenance knowledge and cleaning skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to live on-site in the provided apartment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Background check, DMV, drug and job physical required.
Compensation:
- Hourly rate of $17.25 to start.
