Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Supervisor/Laborer to join our team in supporting construction job site activities. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operation. As a Supervisor/Laborer, you will play a vital part in maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized construction site environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform physical labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials or equipment.
- Assist in setting up, maintaining, and taking down work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, pallets, or containers.
- Pick up and deliver tools, materials, and supplies to job sites.
- Clean and prepare work sites, removing debris and maintaining a safe workspace.
- Adheres to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Provide support to skilled workers, supervisors, or other team members as needed.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and resolve any issues that arise on-site.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
- Prior experience in general labor, construction, or similar fields is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including moving up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to work indoors/outdoors and in various weather conditions.
