What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice Director of Nursing position at Cascade Springs Home Health & Hospice?
Cascade Springs is a locally owned and operated Hospice and Home care company. We take pride in providing the best possible care to our patients. We provide services for the frail elderly, developmentally disabled, patients recovering from surgery or illness, as well as those living with long-term disability or illness. The Director of Nursing is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating all patient services under the supervision of the Administrator. This position is very flexible, fulltime and will be hybrid with location, partly remote with some office hours for meetings.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Professional Registered Nurse currently licensed to practice nursing in Utah State.
- Demonstrates competence in administration, supervision and training functions.
- Demonstrates the ability to manage all aspects of terminal care with specific expertise in crisis intervention, counseling, pain and symptom control and beside nursing.
- Experience in group teamwork and team leadership. Ability to facilitate effective interactions among members of an IDT.
- Participates in interviews, hiring, supervision, and evaluation of clinical staff.
- High levels of confidentiality, organization and communication skills.
- Demonstrates compassion with ability to listen, coach, and empower others to succeed.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to hospice philosophy of care for the terminally ill.

Accountability:
- Adheres to dress code, appearance is neat and clean
- Reports to work on time as scheduled, completes work within designated time
- Maintains patient confidentiality at all times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
