Job SummaryAs a Manual Machinist you will be responsible for operating several manual Machines in a shop environment. The machines that will be utilized are: Conventional and Manual Lathe, Broach Machine, and Drills.Responsibilities and DutiesBe trained on the assigned work centerUse proper fixturing and tooling to set up and complete each jobEnsure machines are maintained on a daily levelCommunicate with lead for jobs assigned each day/weekProvide feedback on anything pertaining to getting the job completed safely and efficientlyEnsure proper document control when working on jobsFollow verbal instructionsSelects appropriate machine and setting for a given taskPromote and practice Quality Awareness and Quality Culture within the Machine DepartmentQualifications and SkillsUnderstand how to read Blueprints and general GD&T (General Dimensioning and tolerancing)Knowledge of how to operate Manual Machinery I.E.
