Duties and Responsibilities
- Operates the waterjet table per engineers drawing specifications
- Cuts various thickness and types of plate 836, 316, aluminum
- Cut various types and sizes (6 to 48 inch) of pipe to a specific print using a plasma machine
- Drill/Debur/Tap Holes/layout according to print or drawing
- Load/Unload various materials onto and from the waterjet/kitting according to the job card
- Rip cutting skeleton into small manageable pieces to dump
- Use a Band Saw to cut smaller pipes to various dimensions
- Promote and practice Quality Awareness and Quality Culture within the Machine department.
Skills Required:
- Must have at least 3 years of CNC experience
- Preferably 2 years cutting metal experience
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Must be very safety conscious
- Must have good communication skills
