JOB TITLE: LABORER
JOB DESCRIPTION: The essential functions of the position require performing a wide variety of duties in an extra person capacity.
- Responsible for assisting or performing within the Recovery Operator position and Outside Operator position.
- Performs inventory of chemicals, ladders, and placing of equipment in proper stations.
- Worker performs position on 9 floors of the power and recovery operation.
- Performs clean-up by sweeping, shoveling and utilizing water hose.
- Responsible for utilizing ladders, may ride elevators and man-lifts.
- Performs duties of procuring parts and equipment from storeroom.
- May also operate bicycle or pick up or operation of 966 cat for moving of sludge.
- May have assistance from yard personnel whenever needed.
- May direct personnel in duties assigned.
- Responsible for pushing and pulling and opening and closing of valves which incur pushing and pulling pressure up to 130 to 160 lbs. of force.
- May move 55-gallon chemical drums, pushing and pulling and moving in a walking motion up to 3 to 5'.
